We are seeking a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS Cloud, a deep understanding of best security practices, and expertise in monitoring and managing logs, IAM policies, and AWS CloudWatch. The role involves building and maintaining a robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure to support our enterprise applications and services.

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Leverage AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC to support application needs.

• Enforce AWS best security practices, including encryption, data protection, and secure access policies.

• Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles, policies, and permissions for users and services.

• Conduct regular security audits and implement tools for vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection.

• Set up and manage comprehensive monitoring systems using AWS CloudWatch for performance, availability, and cost optimization.

• Configure and analyze logs using tools like CloudWatch Logs, ELK Stack, or third-party solutions to identify and resolve issues proactively.

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for infrastructure provisioning (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.).

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or CircleCI.

• Monitor system performance and reliability, optimizing cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability.

• Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline DevOps processes and foster a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to team members as needed.

• Maintain and develop Python scripts to automate infrastructure and data workflows.

• Configure scripts to ingest raw client data into MySQL databases and automate execution for consistency and scalability.

• Test and verify data quality against defined indicators such as continuity and frequency.

• Deploy Python scripts on Linux servers manually or via Jenkins CI/CD pipelines; some deployments may also use Ansible.

• Set up environments, run database scripts, and work closely with the onboarding team to validate proper deployments.

• Create or enhance Jenkins pipelines to support new client onboarding and data operations.

What you need to succeed:

• 3-6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.).

• Solid understanding of security best practices and tools.

• Proficiency in monitoring tools like CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and VPC Flow Logs.

• Proficiency in managing and configuring IAM roles, policies, and permissions.

• Expertise in managing and analyzing logs.

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

• Practical experience in writing, maintaining, and deploying Python scripts for data ingestion and automation.

• Working knowledge of MySQL or similar databases, especially with respect to data validation and ingestion.

• Familiarity with deploying scripts on Linux environments and configuring client-specific server settings.

• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and optionally Ansible for deployment automation

• Must have good reading, written, and verbal language skills (English)

Good To Have:

• Certification in AWS cloud

• Experience with Ansible

Education Qualification:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited college program in Computer science or Computer engineering.

• Or a Bachelor's degree in Science with a Post Graduate degree in Computer science.
