Job Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to help manage key financial tasks and support the smooth operations of our business. The ideal candidate will bring accounting and bookkeeping experience, especially in environments that involve inventory tracking. Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices and payments, managing customer and vendor accounts efficiently.
Payroll: Oversee payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
Reconciliations: Perform regular financial reconciliations to ensure all records are accurate and up-to-date.
Financial Reporting: Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other key financial reports.
Sales Tax Reporting: Handle monthly and quarterly sales tax preparations.
Software Management: Utilize QuickBooks Desktop and Excel for day-to-day accounting tasks. Familiarity with Xero is a plus, but training will be provided.
Requirements:

Experience: 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, with a focus on environments requiring inventory tracking.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel. Experience with Xero is a bonus, but training is available.
Education: Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications: QuickBooks certification or Certified Bookkeeper (CB) certification is a plus, but not required.
