What You Can Look Forward To: Energy Recovery, Inc. is seeking a qualified candidate for an immediate internship job opening for the position of data analytics intern, with the Systems & Analytics Engineering team in the San Leandro, CA facility. This position is responsible for developing code and algorithms for data collection, clean up, organization, visualizations and energy saving calculations. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for interacting with business units and third party contractors to support data-related requests. A suitable candidate will have prior experience working with various programming languages and variety of data streams.
What Will You Do?- Develop algorithms for data collection, clean up, organization
- Develop visualization dashboards
- Conduct energy saving calculations
- All other projects and duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Table: - Bachelor’s Degree (or enrolled in a graduation program)
- No prior industry experience needed
- Analytical mindset, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work under fast-paced environment
- Team player and effective communicator
- Python, SQL, Advanced excel, data analytics, coding, algorithms
- Ability to be individual contributor
- Fluent in English

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California. This range may be modified in the future. The pay range for this role is $30 to $40 per Hour.
