Job Description

Searching for a CNY based, tech savvy Director Talent Acquisition/Talent Management to spearhead hiring across corporate, operations, and retail for a well oiled organization! The role will lead and mentor an established Talent Acquisition team while overseeing all facets of talent acquisition including workforce planning, employer branding, recruitment operations and vendor management. Navigating ATSs, brand imaging & social media strategies a must! The ideal candidate will have proven success attracting and onboarding talent through streamlined processes. In office preferred, but hybrid situations considered with respect to candidate geography.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing talent acquisition strategies: This includes creating recruitment plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives Managing the recruitment team: Providing guidance and support to recruiters, ensuring they are effective in their roles, according to job description templates

  • Building relationships with hiring managers: Understanding their talent needs and collaborating on recruitment plans

  • Overseeing the full recruitment cycle: From sourcing and screening candidates to onboarding new hires, according to job postings from the University of South Carolina

  • Utilizing innovative sourcing techniques: Identifying and engaging with potential candidates through various channels, including social media and professional networks

  • Managing the applicant tracking system (ATS): Ensuring efficient and effective recruitment processes and generating reports for analysis

  • Developing employer branding strategies: Enhancing the company's reputation as an employer of choice

  • Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements: Staying up-to-date on employment laws and regulations

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in talent acquisition and recruitment: Typically requires 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role

  • Strong leadership and management skills: Ability to motivate and guide a team of recruiters both in person and remotely

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders

  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills: Ability to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies

  • Proficiency in using HR software and technology: Including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations: Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
