About the Role

Chicago Marriot Northwest is looking for a Hotel Room Attendant. The role of the Housekeeping Supervisor is to successfully oversee the entire housekeeping operation and team on a daily basis, looking after all public areas and to provide the highest level of care and service to all residents, internal employees / clients and directors in line with the agreed service level and procedures. First and foremost is to always be motivated, highly engaged to provide personalized “world class” customer care and service to all residents, internal employees / clients and directors in line with the agreed service standards and procedures. Ensuring every resident request is completed promptly and decisively, aspiring to make the impossible, possible!

Room Attendant Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Organizing Guest Rooms: This includes vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Changing Bed Linens and Towels: Ensuring fresh linens and towels are available for guests.
• Restocking Amenities: Replenishing toiletries, bathroom supplies, and mini-bar items.
• Maintaining a Clean and Presentable Room: Arranging furniture, tidying up the room, and ensuring it's ready for the next guest.
• Reporting Maintenance Issues: Identifying and reporting any damages, malfunctions, or needed repairs to the appropriate department.
• Providing Customer Service: Answering guest questions, addressing their needs, and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Following Established Procedures: Adhering to hotel policies and procedures for cleaning, safety, and security.
• Maintaining a Stocked and Organized Housekeeping Cart: Ensuring all necessary cleaning supplies and amenities are readily available.

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

• High school graduation or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of hotel housekeeping

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
