This role serves as the lead developer in a modernization project migrating the Clark County Integrated Justice Information Systems (CC-IJIS) environment from BizTalk to Microsoft Azure. The position requires extensive knowledge of both BizTalk and Azure integration tools, as well as the existing CC-IJIS environment to ensure functionality is maintained during the migration. Responsibilities include designing the Azure solution, migrating data exchange, developing monitoring tools, training county staff, and delivering comprehensive technical documentation. The project is expected to last up to three years.

Responsibilities:
- Design a complete Azure solution for migrating the CC-IJIS environment.
- Collaborate with the County Network team to determine the appropriate networking solution for CJIS data transmission.
- Develop a secure large file transmission solution for integration into CC-IJIS.
- Develop an implementation plan for seamless CC-IJIS migration with minimal downtime.
- Create and deliver technical documentation throughout the development process.
- Migrate the full CC-IJIS functionality into Azure and related tools.
- Participate actively in daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings.
- Deliver assigned projects on schedule, reporting any potential delays within 24 hours.
- Communicate development roadblocks to the development team within 24 hours of identification.
- Design and develop functionality to meet project requirements and address bugs.
- Deliver weekly progress reports to the development team.
- Analyze and correct technical issues, providing weekly bug status updates.
- Evaluate and recommend integration design solutions.
- Maintain and communicate work status bi-weekly (minimum).
- Update tasks in Azure DevOps boards.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Integrated Justice Information System (IJIS) development.
- Minimum 3 years' experience developing in the Clark County Integrated Justice Information System (CC-IJIS) BizTalk environment.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in BizTalk Development and Azure Integrations Development.
- Ability to pass required background checks for CJIS data access.
- Ability to pass a stringent criminal background check.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 8 years' experience in MS SQL (mySQL / PL/SQL / Stored Procedures), XML/JSON, Web Service (RESTful/SOAP) development and implementation, and HTML5.
- Experience with data exchange using the GJXDM standard.
- Professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
