AR/Billing Specialist
Cypress, CA
Accounts Receivable
+ Process daily cash applications from lockboxes, wire transfers, credit cards, and bank deposit slips.
+ Maintain and file supporting documentation for all cash receipts.
IPD Accounting
+ Perform clearing and reconciliation of designated IPD General Ledger accounts.
+ Maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
Intercompany Billings and Confirmations
+ Prepare intercompany invoices and debit/credit memos
+ Allocate common expenses and payments made on behalf of affiliates.
+ Confirm monthly balances and transactions with affiliated companies.
+ Prepare miscellaneous billings as requested by business units (excluding EED).
+ Manage accounting for Aetna insurance policy, including:
+ Tracking daily claims payments
+ Reconciling monthly reports
+ Billing affiliates accordingly
General Support
+ Serve as a backup for all functions performed by other Junior Accountants.
+ Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
+ 1-2 years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable preferred.
+ Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
