Be Part of the Story as the Project Hire Associate, Licensing for Hardlines Toys. This role provides support in managing toy categories such as Dolls, Dress up, Roleplay and Preschool, and a portfolio of licensees to meet or exceed predetermined revenue targets and growth objectives. This role will support the hardlines business with day-to day responsibilities as well as consistent report analysis, new business ideation and partner relationships.
This role will report to the Sr. Manager, North American Brand Commercialization Hardlines.
This is a 12-month Project Hire position without any guarantee of permanent placement.
Category Management:
Provide support on the North American core toys business for Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and Disney brands
Research and respond to licensee requests
Provide support in the contract and amendment process
Help identify business opportunities and provide research and analysis on industries, markets, and trends
Ensure timely approvals of licensee’s marketing elements in online approval system.
Provide any licensee /product information in support of regional needs, marketing and brand presentations, and sales meetings
Support Line Planning and Product Development
Liaise with Product Development team to ensure that products reflect Disney quality and franchise objectives: lead meetings; coordinate programs across all categories; review line plans; notify product development team in the case of brand or category strategy changes; coordinate public relations and advertising approvals
Support regional share outs and gather feedback regional feedback online plans as needed
Prepare product and franchise presentations for internal and external use
Maintain and update product sell-in data
Support Regional Marketing Planning and Sell In
Enable sales and retail teams to best prepare sell in strategies of Disney lines to retail partners
Aid in development of franchise themes supporting our different brands
Support the sell in and POS reporting system for tracking of retail and brand performance
Finance and Business Planning:
Manage correspondence, timelines and collection of forecast information, and create forecast summaries for analysis by the team
Collect weekly sell-through information for distribution to internal stakeholders
2+ years of experience in Brand Management, Consumer Goods, Licensing, or Marketing
High level of interest in category/licensing preferred
Strong organizational and project management skills
Highly detail-oriented
Self-starter, motivated and proactive
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Solid presentation skills
Strong computer skills (Keynote, Excel, Power Point, Word)
Data Entry in systems such as OPA, CLM
Friendly, people oriented team player
Able to handle multiple tasks and assignments
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $64,300.00-$86,200.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
