SCHOOL NURSE (RN / LPN) - MULTIPLE DISABILITY STUDENTS CLASSROOM - MIDDLE SCHOOL LEVEL Garnet Valley Middle School SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7:30am - 3:00pm Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse looking for a fulfilling career supporting students' health and well-being? Our School Nurses enjoy: * Competitive Weekly Pay - based on experience * Schedule that supports a work-life balance * Diverse work environments - this position is for a special needs classroom at the middle school level * Professional development opportunities, including CEU's and online training As a School Nurse (RN / LPN), you will: * Provide direct care to students with chronic health conditions, following students IEP's * Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies * Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations * Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs * Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention, hygiene, and wellness * Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary * Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being A few must-haves for School Nurses: * Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN or LPN license in PA * Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing * Current CPR certification * Strong assessment skills, critical thinking, and ability to work independently * Compassionate communicator who values collaboration with students, staff, and families Why join Interim HealthCare Staffing?
