Responsibilities

• Operate transit buses safely and efficiently, adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting passengers with questions and concerns while ensuring a comfortable travel experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts as required.
• Manage time effectively to adhere to established schedules while remaining flexible to accommodate special situations.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical concerns to the appropriate authorities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Engage in regular training and development programs to enhance driving skills and customer service capabilities.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Proven experience as a bus driver or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Excellent driving record with strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to navigate efficiently and adhere to scheduled routes.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
• Capability to manage stress and effectively handle difficult situations professionally.
• Commitment to providing exemplary service and a reliable experience for all passengers.
