We’re looking for a talented video editor fluent in English with proficiency in DaVinci Resolve to help shape fast-paced, comedic shortform content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on storytelling, has sharp comedic instincts, and is comfortable working independently within a remote, async team.
You’ll be editing sketch-style videos and narrative-driven scenes with a strong emphasis on comedic timing, pacing, and visual clarity. We value clean storytelling, a good sense of rhythm, and editors who can bring energy and punch to a scene.
**What You’ll Do:**
- Edit comedic and narrative shortform content (30s–2min range)
- Build clean, structured timelines with polished audio and rhythm
- Shape scenes for story clarity, punchline delivery, and pacing
- Collaborate with our creative team to maintain tone and intent
- Use VFX/compositing tools and integrate AI-assisted assets (when relevant)
- Deliver professional-grade exports in multiple formats
**Requirements:**
- Proficient in DaVinci Resolve Studio (Fusion experience is a bonus)
- Fluent in English
- Basic experience with VFX, compositing, or AI editing tools (optional but welcome)
- Comfortable working independently and meeting deadlines
**Bonus Points For:**
-Experience editing for TikTok, YouTube, or shortform content
-Familiarity with AI tools like Runway, Kling, or Pika
-A love for absurdist humor, sketch writing, or visual gags
