At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

The Opportunity
As part of the Wealth Management Tax Services - Default team you are expected to lead the way as technology-enabled tax advisors who provide advantages through digitization, automation, and increased efficiencies. As a Senior Associate you are expected to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are expected to focus on building client relationships, developing a deeper understanding of the business context, and navigating increasingly complex situations to grow your personal brand and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities
- Lead technology-enabled tax advisory services
- Drive digitization, automation, and efficiency improvements
- Analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions
- Mentor and develop junior team members
- Maintain exceptional standards in every tax deliverable
- Build and strengthen client relationships

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 2 years of experience

What Sets You Apart
- Execution of tax compliance deliverables for corporations, partnerships and other business entities
- Collaboration with tax practitioners and business managers
- Preparation and maintenance of federal and state tax returns
- Delivery of federal and state tax business compliance services
- Preparing Fiduciary Income tax returns
- Reviewing specific 1099s
- Responding to client requests for copies of 1099s, K-1s and trust returns
- Preparing effectively written and verbal business communication skills

The salary range for this position is: $83,000 - $208,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
