Job Description

We are hiring a small engine technician near Port Charlotte, FL! This is a full-time shop position, M-F 8 AM - 5 PM. Please review the primary duties of the role and apply if interested.

Basic Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Mechanical knowledge, preferably with Z-Tracks to 2-Stroke equipment.
• Strong communication skills, great sense of humor preferred!
• Basic Data Entry and write reports
• Must be able to work in a fast paced, extreme environmental conditions and meet deadlines.
• Perform routine maintenance on small engine gas and diesel equipment (Stihl equipment, Honda equipment, John Deere, Bush hog, Billy goat, Yeti, pressure washers, push mowers, riding lawn mowers, UTVs, compact tractors, and more.)
• Blade sharpening or replacement, change oil, filters, spindles, belts, etc.
• Knowledge of parts related to small engines (air filter, spark plugs, Belts, etc.)
• Ability to work with or without power tools.
• Must possess own tools.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen to be considered.
